After many long delays, our boat is finally nearing completion of her refit. We will be taking our leave of frigid Carlinville, Illinois in 2 days to join our boat in Stuart, Florida. I am hoping to leave Florida by Thursday or Friday, winds and weather permitting, for West End, Bahamas. We had initially planned on leaving at the beginning of the year, but many covid and supply delays, and unexpected repairs have delayed us until now. I think the entire crew prefers delay over equipment failure or large amounts of unexpected water entry into the boat.
